Katherine is a contemporary fiber artist based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She grew up in Toronto, Canada where she watched her Mom create beautiful contemporary weavings using unusual fibers.

Decades later, Katherine discovered her own creative weaving voice. Her process always begins with curiosity - investigating fiber materials and exploring how they react to woven structures on a loom.

Her practice is also shaped by weaving traditions experienced around the world, including backstrap weaving in the Himalayas, silk weaving in Laos and Japan, and contemporary techniques in Sweden.
